Memories

I think that my favorite memory from summit is when we did the talent show. The guy teachers did that river dance and they would start dyeing and at the end they came out on thriller and how towards the beginning of the song they are messing up on the dance and as they got farther into the dance the got better and better at keeping up with the steps of the dance.

One thing that I am going to miss about summit is the teachers and the activities that we do as a school.

Memories

My favorite memory in summit would have to be today at lunch. Conejo, Spooky,
Ruffels, Daniel, and I were out side just kicking and I was eating rice. Next thing I know
I got rice in my nose and all over my face. Ruffles had kicked my plate of rice in my face.
Daniel had recorded the whole thing. When I t happened I was hella mad at Ruffels but
after it was just funny. Ima miss the most is all the homies I met like Scott, Alfredo, Josh,
Oscar, Ali, Alma, Stephanie, and Daniel. We had some firme tiempos. This was a kick
back school year.

What I’m going too miss about summit

The things that I think that ill miss the most about summit is probably the people well at least some because some are just as fake as they get. I really like how we can relate too a lot of people here because most of them have gotten in trouble are in foster and proctor care and what not so they can’t judge because they probably been in that same situation. I like how we can catch up on grades quick like the work here is so simple too do like no lie I like how we have a lot more opportunities too get more one-on one help by the teachers or by some one who knows what their talking about. Because in a normal school we wouldn’t be able too have all that because we have a lot of kids in one class but here at summit it’s like your lucky if you get 10 or less kids in one class that’s one of the good things in this school because theirs less drama that’s what I think ha-ha because the less the better and the other thing is that we all have a lot of school spirit I like how this school can help us get a lot more opportunities which we can most of the time we wouldn’t have in other schools.

Summit

In summit they helped achieve math skills that I can never learn for my self. Now am here and am ready to put in work and I don’t care I graduate or not ill go top job corps and am going to be a cook one day. This school helps a lot of people that really want to get credit and graduate. Now for those who don’t want to succeed in life will go to hell and burn for life. One thing ill need of this call is the credit and I will always be in a mission I always missing all ones in this place. My plans for this school is to get rid of score cards and just make everyone check in so I can show them. One day ill come back to this place in a good way and always I need a girl ill come here and take one. I don’t trip ill come here and even work out and take a breath check out the chizzes at the gym.

Summit Memories

The most favorite memories about summit is seeing all my homie’s and seeing that I’m not alone. I also met this awesome wonderful girl named Alma. She just brightens my day my nights my mornings when ever I see her…..awwwhhh how I love how she sings too me she has a voice of a angel…

Something else I liked about summit is that the teachers are cool and kind of care about us because the teachers at my old school, Ogden high didn’t care they wouldn’t care if we sluffed because they knew that we would never change and it was true.

The most important thing I learned was to not get threes because I would get in trouble when I got home and to get seven’s even though we didn’t get rewarded for it.

The thing about summit that I would miss about summit is having something to do and making my time go by faster oh and I can forget my friends and all the plays we went to.

A Tribute to Summit

Since I’ve been here I’ve learned more about math thank goodness its so dam confusing when a dummy try’s to explain it but here the teachers make sense of it I was so worried that I’d been ignorant of it completely and that would have to except it but it makes perfect sense I’m not anything special but I know a great dean than I did before and to that I’m eternally grateful to summit…thank you Peter.

Summit

Something that I will miss at summit is the friends I had at summit because they were different then the friends I had at my home school in my eyes my friends in summit has something different then my have at my home school and one other thing that I will probably miss clear creek the most I will not forget that the activities we did over there it was pretty challenging but it was totally worth it.

Overcoming Challenges

I’m able to overcome challenges growing up I had a hard life but even if every thing was going wrong I would and still find faith with in me to get up and go on with life. I have overcame a drug problem which I never thought I would I use to tell myself I couldn’t but I realized it was because it was me. I was the one who didn’t want to stop but I starting telling my self I could every day.

Right now I’m fighting that I wont go homeless I have to move out in less then two weeks I’m scared I wont get a place in time but I get up every morning to go to school and work so I wont. even though I just want to give up because I feel so alone my challenge here is fighting for myself which sometimes that’s really hard for myself . I believe in myself that I can overcome this and this can only make me a stronger person if it doesn’t kill me it can only make me stronger.

Summit High School

The things I’ll miss about summit, I’ll miss the teachers some of them helped me thru a lot from helping me pass my classes to my own personal issues .I had so much fun here at summit. This school made me enjoys school in stead of hating it. Most of my good memories with my sister are from summit high. If it wasn’t for this school I probably would have been still on drugs and wouldn’t have finished school and the same with my sister. Leaving this school is going to be real hard for me.

What I will miss about summit will be nothing. Some the teachers, I will miss but not all the time but some the students that I have known will I was here in school. But the students were cool and they were funny sometimes, and I will never miss the whole school. But I will miss the ta's and my counslor because they are pretty cool.

The most important thing I have learned and struggled with is my math and I hated it and I still hate it but I know how to do it.

What will I miss about Summit I ask the same question to myself every day. Well I miss my friends the teachers or the sexy girls or maybe nothing. Well I think I will miss all the teachers first the teachers that took all my crap because they passed my big test. I will miss all the homies: snoop dogg, josh, and bunny we had a great year we might have had some problems with other people but we still here standing and we passed that we handled that. Summit

What I will miss about Summit is how everyone’s kick back and you don’t have to worry about too much. The school I came from before was nothin’ like here. I would get into a fight almost everyday, but here no one starts drama for lame reasons. The teachers here help you out when you need it. They help you individually and make sure you know what your doing. If I didn’t have to go here until I graduated I would have dropped out. I’ve only been here for a little bit of time, but it has been a good month.

My favorite thing about Summit is stuff I think they’re pretty cool all of them. Teachers always trying to teach us even when we don’t want to but they insist to teach their classes and I’m sure that is good because we’re learning from you guys all at least me, I’ve learned something from each of you could be good or bad but still I learned it from you guys. I don’t know if I am going to miss something about summit cause I’ll be working but if I do could be P.E I like that class, coach always has something fun to do like sports. Well this year was amazing I’ve never had so much fun like I did in Summit.

The best thing that I really like about Summit is Doug, he’s the best principle that cares for me. I like being here at Summit because when I am here I am never here for trouble. When it comes to me having to be sent to the office Doug always has something positive come out for me to hear. The things that the teachers have for me is positive things to invite to my life of learning. When I come to be here they have something for me everyday of some type of accomplishment for me and others. I have nothing to say but, that Summit is the place to be if you won’t something to change in your need of life. I believe that I will miss about every thing about Summit, and its creation. When it come to need of help these is the people that can be their for you in the need of help. I love Summit like no other school that I can think of in the whole world. I love you Lesli, you’re the best English teacher that helps me get through life.

Memories From Summit

What I’m really going to miss from summit high school is going to be the staff. I really love this school when I first got here like everyone else I didn’t like it but then I realize what this school was about and then I just loved it. I been here for like 2 years and all does 2 years I never got tired of it and I think I wouldn’t get tired of it because I love it here learn how to like it and don’t be a punk. Just learn how to act your age don’t act like a elementary is not even like that we in high school get your crap strait and start acting mature grow up but I love it here I love summit and what.

To over come challenges is a point in believing in your self. Knowing that you can accomplish whatever you want is a big success. Adversity is a big part in we as humans. We probably do not notices it but we play roles in this section from the daily day to day.
Be strong and know that you can overcome any challenge in life, just believe that you can. When Im faced with probs Im quick to solve or talk about them to whom it involves. Im not the type to give up on what ive started. So just be strong and do what it do, and if your having problems then talk to someone or if that doesn’t work then you have the power to figure out how to help yourself or someone else. The on point that I struggle with is continuing going through problems that we face. Which is why the sayin says. “ If your going through hell keep going”. To some it might mean going through bad times. So stick in there.

Some of the challenges that I have over come are that when I was young I had to move around from school to school very often. Once I had bent her long enough to make the right friends I would have to move to a new school .when I stayed in a school for a while I would start getting in trouble with the teachers and be suspended and go to detention.

A different challenge that I have over come is that I never met my biological dad and the ’dads’ I have had haven’t been the best, but I learned to deal with it and to not feel bad about it.

I Can Overcome Adversity and Challenges

On October 25, 2007 I was only 14 and I was going to hell I was in drugs. I remember that people told me don’t get stupid or you’ll end up some where else. I had a girl friend I bare got with her and two weeks she left me for one of my hommies. That day I got the horrible news some one told me you fag you lost her and she is never going to come back. That day I threw on a fit and started to cry and I wanted to go home. When I got out there I went to home I got high the first day I remember feeling kind of buzz then I saw some enemies we shot at them I was happy but knew that it met beef. Next day I was back in rehab I shoot one day now am in the trap this met too me like a movie. Went I was 15 I was stuck on some drugs and now in stuck for life in this world but some day I will come back. In conclusion, one day I will come back so don’t be surprised so open your eyes.

We all have challenges in our every day lives. It can be something small or something big. Not matter what it is it’s just a test to see how strong you are. There are people that can take anything at all but then these are those that have tragedies in the life and they just keep there head up to the sky and say life moves on.

That’s what I’m saying rite now, Life moves on. In my head I see it as if I just tripped but I’m going to get back up. It’s not going to be the last time I fall either. There are many more were that came form. I mean I gave up being able to sleep in my bed, my home, my school, my friends, and be able to sit at home with my family just for one night of partying. One night of partying with my homies cost me 5 months of not being home so far and I still got more time to do. I just keep my head up and say Life moves on.

My Challenge

Well there are a lot of great challenges that I have overcome in my life and some of them are really big and then some were really small but made a big change. The greatest challenge that I have accomplished or over came was graduating high school, and I really am proud of myself and there is also a lot of other people proud of me for doing it. Then there was another challenge that I came over was always blaming other people for my problems and mistakes, and it took my along time to get over it because I was always scared of the consequences. Finally the last challenge that I had to overcome is realizing that I need to be grateful and show a lot more gratitude towards the little things like the love from my family and the people that are trying to help me. Well I got a lot more challenges that I need to overcome in my life and nothing can stop[ you from doing it.

Some challenges that I have over come in my life is being here in proctor the reason why is because it feels like kinda like a test because I never knew how good I had it when I lived at home and relationship wise me being here kinda helps me over come a lot of situation like with trust honesty and responsibility like now that I’m here its like I don’t have it as good here like I do at home at home I don’t have too worry about as much as I do here like it was like I was so careless of others and now that I’m here and their I just now basically noticed I really do care about others not just myself because being here in proctor I honestly think it really does help build character by helping us know how its like too be on are own and basically be glad for what you have because here we wont have everything we were so used too so basically the whole challenge ive learned is too be grateful for what you have and never take things for grant because sometimes when you least expect it its just going too disappear and you may never know when you may ever get it back…

Stressful days

I have been faced with many problems and obstacles in my life. Sometimes life throws challenges at you to test just how strong you are. I’ve overcame some of these challenges. Recently I was arrested and charged with 2nd degree felony car burglary.

It all started on a Saturday. I was just kickin back at my house and I decided to go get some money. So I left to Bountiful, when I got there I started breaking into cars. I was looking for purses, laptops, ipods etc. anything I could steal for a little bit of cash. I broke into a car and stole the lady’s purse and kept going. The place where I stole the purse had cameras and they saw me do it. They called the cops and after I broke into another car the cops pulled me over and arrested me, my dad and my grandpa.

I was looking at about 7 years in secure care. When I went to court my judge was mad. Because when I got locked up I was on probation. He wanted to lock me away until I was 21. He gave a chance by sending me to a proctor home in Eagle Mtn. If I mess up here There is no more chances

Adversity and Challenges

I think everyone overcame adversity and challenges in life because maybe they do or not but for me I have overcame adversity and challenges in life. All the challenges that came to me in life I may have overcome but they were hard most of the time, but for challenges I have done and overcame some challenges that were hard or what ever that brought me here in a program and away from my family, because at first I never challenged adversity which I never really cared about at first, but when I had to overcome adversity and challenges I have done it.

Adversity Life

I think everyone has adversity times and everyone has different solutions for their problems or circumstances. In those times of adversity I just focus on those problems and after I solved it I move on and absolutely I learn from those situations that’s how I overcome adversity, “if you’re going the hell keep going” I think this quote is weird because you can change your life if you want I know a lot of people that have done that, I’m sure that everyone has the chance to get a new life and be proud of themselves.

I have overcome adversity and challenge by being optimistic and just getting over things in the past. Some one once told me that the past is the past and that there’s always the future to change things. I think that it is true people shouldn’t dwell on the past. You should overcome those things. Don’t let them get to you because if it does then you just get mad it’s like an obstacle course you have to do all these things to get finished unless you give up and if you do that then you’re just a failure. But for me I just ignore those things and move on with life because there’s so much more out there. And when you overcome those challenges you feel so much better.

I Can Overcome

I use to be such a stubborn selfish person; it was something to expect from a kid my age, little did I know that such actions and behaviors would only help me have more hardship later on. I didn’t have too many friends to give me advice because I was very shy; so my learning experience as far as social skills go’s was limited, it took the difficulty of being alone to try to figure things out myself. Then for a time I was isolated from society, and came to a realization that the habits I had were insufficient to my well being, so I slowly abandon those and acquired good habits as well as seeing a new appreciation for things I had once took for granted those changes alone made adversity become a simple task not a problem.

What Makes Someone a Hero?

I don’t think a hero is someone in the comic books who runs around saving the city from the monster. A real hero is someone who does there own thing and doesn’t get caught up in the drama of every day life. A real hero is someone who provides for there family and makes sure there not hurting or stressing. It’s someone who can stay out the system and stay out of jail for more than a couple weeks. I don’t really have someone in mind who I can call a REAL hero.

I have been thinking a lot about adversity lately. I have come to be a believer that adversity is quite often that thing that purifies our lives. For instance, we so often become occupied with what in essence amounts to trivial and vain things. They become built up around us like walls... Then adversity visits our lives and when dealt with correctly, it brings us to that place of clarity.
So my point of view is obviously clear that let adversity and challenges over throw you, you will never succeed in your life and you will be setting yourself up to always fail no matter what it is.

I can overcome adversity and challenges

Well I really never have overcome things in my life I’ve failed in lots of places in my life but that’s about it. I’ve failed to be a good son to my parents to respect them to love them to help them. I’ve failed to be a good brother to help them in any way to respect them shows them the right path not the wrong path. I’ve failed to all the people that have been there for me and still here with me they help me but I don’t let them but that is just me I like to do it my way my self I hate it when they get in my way and who ever that gets in my way I take them out that’s how I was raised like who ever is stopping me I get them but I’ve noticed the people that do that are my parents and teachers but that’s how they treated me the way they thought me but now they don’t like the way I am the things I do the way I dress but my thing is I’ve never over come anything because I don’t know who I want to be who I am I’m still learning and keep changing but I know this I can do what ever I want I have my grandpas my friend kiven and my uncle Ramiro looking over me and taking me through the good path..

I have been through a lot of stuff that has been putting me down and having all the depressions go through my body ever day. I have stared with my leaving my home by breaking my home probation by running away from my own home that has been taking care of me all these years. It’s been hard for me the next day I was locked up with a pick-up order. I had lots of challenges after that because I was sent to a foster home. Then I was kicked out for a tattoo. Then was sent to my next foster home and was kicked out form them for a comment and getting in a argument with them. Then was sent to vantage point for a why’ll and went to a Procter home then got in a fight their and ran away. Then, I was sent away to a group home for a why’ll and I told my caseworker and took out of my group home and went to a foster home in Lehi. Then it’s been three months now I’m home doing a home trail for my mother.

If I could create a god I would create a goddess her name would be Fidelity because she fixes relationships every time someone wishes that they could fix there problems how she was created by a couple that was having problems.

Once upon a time there was this couple that were having problems so one day when the couple was arguing the girl walked away from the argument and mumbled under her breath “I wish someone would fix our problems” then out of no where fidelity appeared and started to fix there problems one by one. After awhile fidelity got so addicted to fixing problems that she started to create her own problems. Till she got a problem that she just couldn’t fix. She started to realize that she can’t fix everything. And that life isn’t perfect.

Proving Other's Wrong

I overcome my self by getting out of the system its funny though because people use to tell me that I was not goanna get out of the system and I did I was in the system for 2 years and 6 months and I proof everybody wrong and I made it when someone tells you. Your not goanna make it proof them wrong and then rube it in their face. That’s what I did. Its funny how when people judge you without knowing a dam thing from us me I don’t like talking ship about others I will push them and help them do what they got to do. I’m a pretty cool kid but when you become my enemy is not even funny. All I got to say is keep moving forward and don’t let dome idiot bring you down I made and if I made it you could make it put your mind to it and don’t B.S about it take it seriously I wish all of you the best and keep your head up don’t put your head down never do I good luck!.

My Hero

Something or someone that makes someone my hero is someone I can look up too know matter what the situation is their someone I would like too become in a certain amount of time.

My older brother victor is my hero the reason why he’s my hero is because he used too be a trouble maker he was in the system and all that he was always in trouble for some reason my older brother ended up getting some girl pregnant when he was 16 years old he ended up changing his life around once he got out of proctor he ended up changing his whole life around that’s what I wanna do when I get out and that’s why I look up too him because he turned his whole life around and that gives me hope. he’s my role model.

A hero to me is someone who overcomes all obsticales. Someone who does not give up on any project they start. Someone who is real and is devoted to who they have, Heroes do not always gotta be someone who saves or in a better definition a super hero. Some times it can be someone who is a verified person who does not know much. When someone saves another life or when you make another person smile
Or to a person you become there best friend you may never know you just might
Be a hero to some one why maybe because you did some thing nice to some one
You can do a lot of nice things to people but to some just might thing you’re a hero
A hero to me is when I need help on my home work or when I need help on some thing big.

What makes some one a hero to is that he has to be strong, fearless and never gives up, some one that is there for me when I’m down or that has my back and doesn’t fear people bigger than him and understands what you’re going through and a hero to me has to have power, respect, money, and ant scared to get locked down or the law and someone that knows more than me and never sounds stupid and doesn’t care what other people say cause he’s his own man and doesn’t hesitate to kill and my hero has to be real and likes to have fun and knows how to play with gun’z so he could teach me and my hero has to be a teacher and a leader and his purpose of life is live to die and for his family and my hero doesn’t turn his back on his homie’s because they wouldn’t cross them and my hero has to like to travel and see thing that we would never see in person and my hero has to prove that he is a hero and my hero will never switch because hell rather have death row hit the switch on the electric chair.

My Hero

A hero is some one with courage and is brave. They aint scared to do nothing. They aint scared to go toes with some one that over powers them and they aint going to back down from anything or any one. They get through any types of struggles. They always keep there heads up to the sky keep there heads up. They no thing got to get worse before it gets better.

My here is my dad. He always helps me get through any type of problems. He does what ever it takes to keep my whole family up. When I need something he’ll get it. He makes sure we feel good with what we got or he’ll work extra hard to get it for us. I know he sacrifices a lot to keep us happy and well. That’s why my jefe is my hero.

Journal

When someone that can handle to see and control something really big. When a hero comes they can stand there and to be there for someone else that needs you. When you are in danger as well. Someone that’s a hero can take the pain for others and be there for you. My mother is a hero that can help others and can be there for them. When they need it the most. She can take the pain for someone else and the pressure of it all and can control almost everything that pops in her way of helping others and being that hero.

When it comes to all those other my mother is there for you at all of the times. I love the things that my mother does for others because it makes me think of others. All of the things that I could do to become a hero just like my mother. This is when I can inspirer others to do become a hero. And all the great things that you can get in return.

Specifics of a Hero

A hero to me is someone that is very wise as well responsible; someone that has there most prized possessions inside there mind rather than in there house. Someone that has the ability to survive mostly on themselves, which have no dependence on to many people or objects. That don’t crumble under pressure of any kind; someone that can get things done with hesitation, but at the same have enough time and consideration to listen take time with people to help them. Also someone that’s going in a direction but not with haste

What makes a hero I think a hero is some one strong not in a muscular way but by your heart. What Makes a Hero to Me?

I have a lot of heroes but I only admire my brother because he is coolest Mexican at less for me, he has done so much for his family and that makes him a hero. I think that he doesn’t know that he is a hero I never told him but I’m sure that I will because I learned a lot of things from him since I was a baby. He taught me how to survive in this life, how to choose my friends, how to be a good guy and how to love my mom. This guy is my hero and I’m sure that I’ll be his hero because I’m doing good and he’ll be proud of me.

The power my god would have is she can fix relationships. Her name is Fidelity
She was created because of this one couple who were having a really bad relationship problem. They wished they could fix there problems then out of no where fidelity appeared and she started to help people fix there problems. She liked helping so much that she started to help every relationship she could.

Isaiah

My god’s name is Isaiah. He has brown hair and green eyes his skin is bronze he’s very handsome man He is a very powerful man he is very strong and fast also can read minds, his very kind man .

Isaiah, growing up he knew he was different, see he doesn’t look like his parents his whole family is blond hair with pale skin and pale blue eyes. His parents knew their was something about him but they loved him as if their wasn’t anything wrong with him.
When he turned 16 that’s when his powers started. This kid was trying to fight with him when he tried to defend himself but his powers where so strong he couldn’t control himself. That day he went home and demanded explanation to what was going on with him. His parents told him the truth that there not this real parents his real parents asked them to take care of him because they wanted him to live a normal and good life. Well time goes by he meets his parents his parents are this powerful gods but he chooses not to live their life style. He goes back to his town and helps out with the troubles there.

My god is in control of all the armies and the soldiers. He tells them when to go to war and go take over other countries. His name is Soldado. He was born in a small village and ever since he was13 he has been fascinated with killing and war. He used to torture the animals and terrorize the people of the village. So the village people sent him away. He wandered around for 300 years before he created his first army and he was obsessed with power. There were no other people to rebel against this army and so created more armies to make the world crazy. So the armies recruited more soldiers and started to follow Soldado.

The New Kingdom

Netzahualcoyotl was born from the rain in 5000000 B.C. He was the only one in this earth, he was a normal but not normal as us he used to have powers but for his own well he couldn’t use them, (I mean he could but he’ll be in trouble with the god of gods).
Netzahualcoyotl was really humble the he always listened to his god even when he was disappointed with his orders. One day Netzahualcoyotl has been told that he has to create the human race and everything that we’ve in this days, of course he did it but he also created his wife and he named her “Cuitlahuac.” She was so beautiful that Netzahualcoyotl fall in love with her. They were happy for millenniums and millenniums the rumor says that they still alive in this earth just waiting until their god comes to make pace and the biggest kingdom ever.

Trojan Man

My gods name is Trojan man and his power is immortality, life & death. His story is that he grew up in a small town and build up a clan that could never die killing the weak and recruiting the strong and killing the ones who weren’t loyal or showed respect to him and the women would worship him because he was so powerful and punked all the other gods and he kick Hades out of the underworld and took his lady and made his minions sell drugs for him so he can kill everybody slowly and his prices were cheep so that they will always come back and after a year he had the biggest army the world has ever seen and Zeus got mad and try to fight him but only made himself look like a punk so Zeus try to form a army with the other gods but they were all to scared because he already punked them before and Zeus got snitched on by the other gods and Trojan man made Zeus kiss his feat and brush his horse and then kill him because he was a slithering snake and couldn’t be trusted and Trojan man lived happily ever after in his new empire.
