Cherish the Moments

This is the best time of year for everyone. It’s the time of year for everyone the gather around as a family and spend time together. Even if you don’t have all your family together you can have the best Christmas you want to. This is the first year in 11 years my mom will have her son out of prison to be home for Christmas. Since my sister died Christmas hasn’t been the same. The family seems to just be falling out. I still love it though. It doesn’t matter what your have, it’s who you have around you. Through the years of losing loved ones I have realized that, cherish the ones you love. I love Christmas for the fact that is brings in the spirit of the Lord and the Savoir into the homes of all that believe. It brings family closer together and it makes me feel the power of God.

My topic is on two subjects Christmas traditions and Christmas music.
Me and my family don’t really listen to Christmas music but we do dance to clubbangers.
Its always benn like that some people think its weird.
Me and all of my friends families do that. I guess its just where you live.
Our Christ mas traditions are we always throw a phat Christmas partie yadathymine.

I love x mass because of all of the cool colors and it just has so much fun and spirit in it and you get presents for doing nothing but it sucks because you have to spend money for every one but it’s a good thing your helping other people out for doing nothing but just being your friend and family and it brings your family members together even if you don’t like them so that’s what I love about x mass its just the best holiday ever invented.

Love

Love is a very complicated, and yet, powerful emotion. It can motivate someone to sacrifice everything they have just to help those they love. It’s amazing; some of the things people will do for love. Passion, dedication, intimacy, friendship, trust, loyalty and sacrifice, are what complete love. That is what makes love so complicated. Without any of those, love is incomplete. But with all of those things combined with love, it’s the most rewarding emotion. That is why love is so powerful. So powerful, that it dominates over hate. And I believe that with more love in this world, we all would have the power to unite, and live in peaceful happiness.

Christmas

Christmas, the holiday of love and giving, dedicated to Jesus Christ’s birth. Probably the best holiday of the year. Although I think the reason we celebrate Christmas has been twisted. People stress and focus on presents, more than the other reasons we celebrate it. I celebrate this holiday because it’s the one time of the year that brings almost all my family together. And I believe that’s the most important part of Christmas: to spend time with those that care about you and love you, and to show your appreciation of them. Second is the experience, creating everlasting memories with your loved ones. Third, is appreciating the significance of Christ, who sacrificed everything for everyone, and gave his life as a gift of salvation. Then finally, the presents, that show we care and thought of someone. This is what I believe Christmas is all about, and why it’s important to me.

Christmas

Well I don’t and I do like it because I think Christmas is a
time to spend with your family. Me and my sister don’t really
have family to spend it with but our foster family. Its more an emotional
time than anything. The part that I like is getting presents and being grateful
that I got a home. I also like Christmas because we go sledding and try to have
fun that day with out arguing .

The best part of Christmas

I believe the best part of Christmas would have to be spending time with your family because Christmas was about the coming of Jesus and so all if his family got together when Jesus was born. So think it is important for family’s to get together when Christmas come around, and I also think this is because I haven’t been with my family for Christmas for about 3 years so I would like it if I was with them this year and all of the rest of the years.

Today I wanna talk about Christmas and how I love it when it is Christmas, because I spend time with my family and I get to be with them. I also love it because my family shows love to my other family members, which is nice to see them do that because we hardly do that. I also love showing the most love to my parents and my stepmother. I always let them know that I love them especially my mother. Last year was a bad year because I wasn’t with my own family I didn’t have know one to spend it with so I spent it with my aunt and uncle there was reasons, which I don’t like talking about. But this year I’m really excited I get to be with them, and my little sister who I love the most.

Christmas

My topic is on do you love or hate Christmas, my opinion is that I love Christmas because it’s a time I can be with my friends and family, and on Christmas we get a lot of stuff and when you give someone else something it makes you fill good, on Christmas me and my family go out four wheeling or we do some kind of out door thing, this Christmas I am going on a home visit and I am going fishing with my brother. I hope all of you get to be with your family and have a merry Christmas…

I love Christmas cause its just fun I get to spend time with my family, and friends. I get lots of presents and that makes me happy. But mostly I just like being around with my family and friends and able to just be myself again and be home where I know everyone likes me and loves being around each other. It used to be the only time where no one fought but now no one fights with each other in my family so it’s all good. But im excited to just be home for Christmas to be with my brother and sister, my mom, my fiancé, and all my friends is just going to be all out amazing. I don’t even need presents to make this Christmas great.

For me Christmas is cool and fun. I like it because I get to see my little brother and little sister open presents and its cool because their happy and excited. Then it’s my first Christmas I get to spend with my son because last Christmas I was locked up and it sucked but know I get to go home and not only for a home visit but for good so im real excited. The only thing that sucks is that I couldn’t buy any gifts for anybody because I didn’t get a job and another thing that sucks is that im leaving a cool group of kids and staff here at summit.

This one is going to be about why I like Christmas I like it because of the parties that there are but who doesn’t you no what I mean but isn’t all I like I also like getting presents but that was when I was little I haven’t really got a present in a while now but that’s alright because I got nephews now and my parents have to worry about them so I can careless if I get any presents my proctor bought me something but I am not going to buy her anything so that is all

Christmas Music

I think that Christmas music is okay but I really have to be in the mood to listen to it. I usually don’t listen to it because it’s not really me but when I moved to my proctor house they said they like Christmas music so they start listen to it after thanksgiving. My foster dad doesn’t like Christmas music but he gets over the fact that he has to listen to whether he wants to or not.

Christmas

I like Christmas because my b-day is in December and I sometimes have my b-day on Christmas because some of my cousin’s b-day in December and I’ll just have it on Christmas because there’s more food to eat and things to do. I like Christmas because I like the snow and the parties that we have and seeing my family that I haven’t see in along time and I get to see them and have fun talking and playing some games with them on Christmas. I like the snow cause I get my moms or my grandmas big Chevy truck and go fast in the snow, and do a lot of crazy stuff with the truck and it will get stuck but it comes out easy when I have it in 4 wheel drive and its better than a ford.

Christmas… I love Christmas because it’s a time when everyone is together and happy. Your getting good food, things you want, and in my house all my family is there. Its just a time when you can actually forget about everything and have no problems. Just a time of giving n getting and I like to do both so im pretty excited for this Christmas!

Christmas

Well I think Christmas is time for all family members to come close and celebrate like a family and leave. Any bad things about each other and start brand new again and for kids it’s a time. For presents and love and giving love and presents but I’d rather have love then stupid presents that don’t mean nothing to me. And hope everyone has a BLAST to expesuly my case worker because she is giving birth one of these days and hope she has a great one and my teachers because they need a break from us!!!

Christmas

I like Christmas because is a day when you hang out with the family and have a great time. We smile kick back listen to some music stay up real late dancing playing games and do some carne asada o what ever comes up we just like to have our Christmas and have fun at all times don’t let no one kill it for us. Last year I didn’t spend it with my family so this year im goanna make it up to them big time and show them my love that I got for them and how happy they make me and thank them for been their for me when I need them. I LOVE MY FAMILY!!!!

My Money

So I’m really pissed off at my proctor and program. I recently got my check from my previous job before I was put in state custody. And my case manager said that my proctor mom can regulate my money however she wants. So she’s being a major B!*#h about it! I’m so pissed! It’s MY money, which I earned BEFORE all this, and I don’t believe anybody should be allowed to regulate when and how I spend it. I worked hard for that money, and she’s threatening to deny me my money. Not only that, but she’s threatening my Christmas home visit! I don’t know what to do. I don’t know if there’s anything I really can do.

Oscar de la Hoya is my favorite boxer because he represent to Mexico but he born in L.A. My point is the last Saturday 6 of December he fought with Manny Paquiao this guy is from Philippines, is really hard say this but many won the fight in the round eight Oscar give up and he drop the flag that was really sad because most people believed him, my holy country believed him too but he can’t win well Oscar de la Hoya decided no more fights until he feel good or may be never because after the fight he got some problems with his head.

I cant wait until x mass cause I will be with my family and I can have some friends come over because it is x mass and now I cant wait and im going to be missing my home visit for this weekend so I can stay longer for x mass its going to be so fun cause I already know what im getting and so Im happy already and I get to spend it with my family and I just cant wait.

So I’m happy because I am getting hours done finally so ill be able to go home for longer hopefully during the Christmas break. And I’m getting hours done with my best friend so its way tight. And the more hours I get done the better it will look when I go to court and show the judge that I have changed and that I am trying to do good so I can go home. I want to show everyone that I am not going to go into the same stuff that I was into when I first got locked up and I want to show everyone that I can be better and that I have actually changed from what I used to be.

One Microphone

Music is an important part to any teenager’s life. I love music. I don’t have a certain genera of music that I like. I listen to all types of music I want to be open to all the music that comes my way even country. I use to only listen to one kind of music; I got bored of the same lyrics getting played back and forth to me over a new beat. I wanted more of something, more of anything. It was getting to boring. So I decided to venture out listen to various types of artists. I would come to find that I would like other music. When I am sad I would listen to county and when I am happy maybe some techno. Who knows music is more that just one guitar of one microphone.

My Sister Stephany

Today I am going to talk about my sister of how much I love her and I care about her. I love how she treats me and how I love to take her out and shop with her. Her name is
Stephany; one thing she loves to do is pedicure. She wants to be like my other sister Ivette. My sister Stephany always asks me if she can do my nails so, I watch a movie while she does my nails all she does is polishes them and cuts them. I like it because she gets practice and my nails are nice and smooth I know it sounds Gay but I let her because I want her to have fun, also to let her know that she is not as bad. One thing that I love about my sister is that we are really close to each other. I’m also glad that we are not how we use to be I lived with my dad and she lived with my mom but now we are both living with our dad, we switch of every once in a while. So that’s the story for today.

Moving Away

I’m moving Sunday night, I’m sad that I am leaving.
Im going back to my old foster home that is 2 hours away. I’m going to miss my sister
, but in a couple of years I can look back and say that was the best for me.
I’m only seventeen and they let me move out with my sister she missed up and
I kind of did too but there moving me away because of her, I’m not trying to blame
Her because I got a lot of problems myself I hope this move well be the best for me.
I’m going to miss my family and most of all I’m gong to miss this school I was so happy to be back and grateful. I’ve only been back for a week and now I have to leave, today’s my last day.
Thanks to all the teachers and counselors there great people I can truly say this school is the best.

Gun Control - What do you think?

Gun control has been an issue recently since the election of Obama and lots of individuals are concerned about there gun rights, some have fears of hand guns being taken away (a very unlikely action to occur). automatic fire arms manly military class weapons are being questioned weather or not to be allowed to be purchased or acquired by law abiding U.S. citizens Obama had made a statement in response saying “I think there is an individual right to bear arms, but it’s subject to common sense regulation.”
Because of this sales have shot up on many high powered weapons to do this some say citizens will be defenseless against criminals because all types of fire arms can be easily obtained and are available through private sales to that public.

Horoscope

This weird thing happened to me the other day it had to do with a horoscope. Let me start from the beginning. I first started out with me getting into trouble and getting yelled at, this happened at my Procter house and like I said I got into trouble by doing something stupid and so I got yelled at by my Procter mom so I think I should of done the right thing and kept it fair and I was all kind of worried thinking that I was going back to Millcreek and my therapist to make sure I know what’s expected of me, so the next couple of days I got a horoscope from a friend and this is what it said, don’t give into ultimatums. Fair play is the way to win and, if you stick to the rules, you have nothing to worry about. Ulterior motives may be behind someone’s offer so, before getting involved, make sure you know what’s expected of you. So that was my weekend.

The "S" on my Chest

I have many scars, piercings and tattoos on my body and all of them tell stories of my life where I’ve been what I’ve done and what has been done to me. The one that stands out the most to people is the “S” on my chest most people look at it as just some dumb tattoo but there is a story behind it. I grew up in Las Vegas in the gang life all my brothers were in gangs so that’s all I knew but they all had a name for me I was the true Superman to them cause of all the hard times I live watching my family get torn apart by drugs, gambling, gangs, money. I’m the only one that made it out alive so as a tribute to the love of my brothers I got the “S” on my chest cause in there eyes I’ll always be a super hero.

Mexicano

Well what can I say “im very proud to be a mexicano” and that im going?
To get my country back. For all my people and if I can’t do it my brother is and if he can’t my son well. I don’t care I represent mexicanos and what I go throw because im going to fight for what belongs to me and I guarantee that. And if you’re Mexicano you know what im saying. They put the fence so we would stop but nothing can stop us they don’t know how many people die crossing the line dads, moms, even kids don’t you see it and hear it on the news. . And you know what I say is true and makes you think and why is there a line that divides us if this is reality we are the same we should unite. And if you are a mexicano don’t stop we are almost there it’s almost ours keep your heads up. Because every one that dies relives. I don’t care if they say im not from here im here and here to stay and just remember who works the jobs that you don’t want to do this is my pride and all the stuff I’ve been through you cant take that away from me all my mexicanos, chicanos we are here now it is time to show them we are united and strong and never going to back down again.

I love Christmas it is a fun Holladay it is a good way to hang out with your family because it’s Holladay were families should spend time together and get to be close with each other it would be cool if the programs sent every one home for Christmas.

I went to court on the fifth and the judge gave me a month if I can quit smoking and not get suspended from school but if I mess up then she is going to give me three more months, after court my step dad made me a deal that if I did what she said and came home in a month he will give me his brand new 7mag and his two 9mm, and his brand new 12 gauge, I hope I get to go home because then I will have about 30 guns all together, and I wont miss my niece growing up like I did the first one.

X-Mas

Can you believe it, it’s almost Christmas that is crazy. Well I got my visit approved I go on the 19th and come back on the 28th then when I come back I go to Vegas im sooo excited im not really sure what im going to do yet but I know what my mom bought me for xmas. In addition, I got my boots with the fur early. Well I have never been to Vegas so it is going to be my first time but I do not think it will be as fun cuz it is not with my family it is with my proctor family.

Body Worlds

A few weeks ago, I went to see Body Worlds at the Leonardo in Salt Lake. It was amazing! I thought I might be a little queasy or grossed out, but I wasn't. I was so intrigued and fascinated by the bodies.

So, in case you didn't know, they take the skin and fat off the bodies, and take out their organs. So you can see the bones, muscles, veins. This exhibition focused on the heart, so it was mostly on the heart, muscles, and veins. Only a few of the bodies had organs. They place the bodies in crazy positions so that you can see how your muscles word. They also have smaller tables with parts of organs. There were three parts that really affected me and the strangers that were around me.

1. They showed a healthy lung, and then a lung with cancer. Your lung literally turns black and is crispy and hard. They had a box where people could put their cigarettes in.
   
2. They had 18000 gallons worth of barrels in one room. That is how much blood your body pumps everyday. An overweight man said aloud, "We really need to start exercising. Our hearts are just too weak to pump all this blood."
   
3. They had a room dedicated to human conception. This was a really hard room. I'm glad that I was only in the room with 2 other people, a married couple. They had actual fetuses up to 42 weeks. It was so sad. The man (who was a rough and tough trucker type guy) started crying. Not just a few tears, but bawling. I had to hurry and leave because I was going to start crying as well.

Assisted Suicide

-For assisted suicide people wanted it just so they can get out of every ones life so they can have a better life well that’s what im thinking and this is what I read on it. People want assisted suicide to happen because it will get all the sickness out of the earth it will be under ground

-Against assisted suicide people don’t like it because it is killing other human beans and its messed up if they want to die then they should be the ones who pull the plug or something not some one else

-My story is on assisted suicide because I don’t know what else to do it on but I think its wrong to do that because who wants to die like that I would want to die like of old age or a fast death not a painful one and I think no one should have to go threw that if they want to die they should at least shoot them or something or tell them when their not going to die so they don’t have to go threw all of that pain or glory well that’s my story thanks for listening.

Fear is not our kryptonite

Fear it can be many things it can cause are worlds to end at any time and is the soul source of defeat even to the strongest of individuals. Its like salt to a snail no one is immune to its power and effects but the only way fear can control us is if we let it. Us being organisms of vast wonder and creativity can easily create what existences we want; we’ve done good so far just look. From the B.C.s to the A.D.s from the1700s to the 1800s, 1900s, and up to 2008 and were still going; as good and as bad as its been were still here maybe not all of us in physical form but were here in many ways we exist in many things music, cars, fortune, pictures, places of are beginnings, places of are rest, hearts, minds, experiences, maybe even donated organs. If you ask me with all of this evidence of are toils and success written through history, and the fact that as you read this right now you and it is history what the hell is there to be afraid of nothing fear only exist if we want it to so lets finish where we left off...

Things That I Have Gone Through

The things that I have gone though in my life are not good things and that is because someone tells us this things just because they don’t like it. So I don’t think that the things that I’ve done is bad because if I did not go though all the things that I have gone though. I wouldn’t be as how I have became today the child that my mom loves with all her heart and my stepdad he as been a dad to me then my dad as been my stepdad doesn’t give up on me and I wish I could pay him back for it cause it makes me happy to know that I do have a dad that will be there for me. But the things that I’m happy I have gone though is once I had a friend how try to take things from me but a forgive him for it. And I started smoking and drinking when I was a 11years old I didn’t want to go though thinking about my dad not being a dad to me. Now I just wish I was with my mom she is the best thing that I have in my life and I know I’m the best in hers.

Animal Testing

People support my topic because they think that it is helping us move forward in science.

People also oppose it because they believe animals have their rights and we should respect them for that.

I believe that we should stop testing on animals. Because we are harming innocent beings. Who feel like we do, see like we do, breathe the same air as we do. We should show them with respect as we would our fellow man, or woman. Because yes animals DO have feelings like us, they just can’t express it like we can.

Illegal Immigration

One reason people support my topic is because they are people like you with the same opportunity like you, they just want a better future in this country.

One reason people against my topic is because they think they have their own country and the immigrant’s makes a lot of problem’s for this country .

My opinion is everybody can choose a better future for their family’s.

Changing My Life Around

Well after being in foster care for about 3 years.
I was doing well in life staying out of trouble, well once in a while.
At age seventeen and still not done with high school they let me and
My sister out on our own apartment I dropped out of high school and
Started to do bad I thought I was living the life of no one telling me what to do. After a couple of months of this, something made me realize what I was doing was wrong and I wasn’t going anywhere in life. I decided to go back to school it wasn’t easy I had to show the counselors that I was determined to come to this school they told me I had to get some things done to show them how determined I was. I had to learn the school creed in one day “word perfect “I didn’t think I was going to do, but I did I’m so happy to be back here.

Capital Punishment

I don’t agree with the death penalty because my friend is going to get it and I don’t think it’s right. Some people support my opinion because there are so many people on death row and that already got executed that are innocent. People have been wrongfully accused of murder or violent crimes.

Some people don’t agree with my opinion they think they should do the death penalty because the figure if you get a murderer of the streets then he wont kill again. Those people could be innocent though.

I don’t think that the death penalty should be used it cost a lot to do it. In California a lone they could save 90,000,000 dollars if they abolish it and resentence the lifers. It would save a lot of money if the U.S. stopped it altogether. There is at least 373 people on death roll that are innocent.

Abortion

Today I am going to write about my research paper I am doing. Well my topic is abortion and what I wanna tell you about it is that half the world is against it and the other half supports it.

Against- The reason why people are against it is because they think it is a murder case, and an innocent child should have a right to live.

Support- People support it because they wouldn’t want to have a baby yet, they are not ready, or they want to do their career fist and have the child have a better life.

My opinion is that I’m with it and at the same time I against it, because in some reasons it those feel like it is a crime and then it feels right, because what if the women was raped and she doesn’t wanna have a baby with a father that the baby won’t know. My opinion changes depending on what is the situation. That is today’s story THE END

Gay Marriage

There is a lot of controversy in the world. And everybody has there own opinion. Some people in the world do not believe in gay marriage. They do not believe in it for one of the biggest reasons for the fact that it is a moral sin. God in the beginning created Adam and Eve, not Eva and Eve. It’s not moral and its not right.

Every one in America has the right to get married and have a family. Marriage in America is a civil right and you should be able to get married as a citizen of America and it is making homosexuals a second class citizen.

I am for same-sex marriage. I believe love is love and no matter if you are straight of gay you should still have the right to be married.

Violence in the Media

The basics of violence in the media are that it is affecting the children and the adolescences in the world. Media is all over the place in television, radio, film, video, newspaper, magazines, photography, electronics, e-mail, and web. Also anywhere there is media there is violence in it. What we are trying to get across is that there is bad stuff in media. I oppose this subject and I think that it needs to stop, and all of the subjects that I talk about I mean for them to oppose this subject with violence in the media.

Opposing

One is because there isn’t any point in it except a little bit of entertainment. Second is the effects are really bad also. Third you are getting into trouble for most of it like illegal downloading.

Affirming

Some people would say that it isn’t that bad and that it doesn’t effect that many people and that people have a choice to get involved so it isn’t that bad. If it is that big of a problem I would see what I can do to reduce the violence in the media.

Opinion

‘‘My opinion on the whole thing with the violence in media is that I oppose it because there is some entertainment in it but it is wrong for our children and young people, and also there is a couple of things that are natural like boys fighting but they also get fighting from the

Abortion

People are for abortion because they believe that if someone gets pregnant that if they don’t have to go threw with having the baby, people are against it because they believe that the baby has the right to live and it’s not its fault you’re pregnant.

I am against abortion unless you’ve been raped or something because you shouldn’t have to go threw having a birth you didn’t make happen.

Assisted Suicide

One reason why people are against this topic is because there family might of prevent suicide theme selves by drugs taking over there bodies so they suicide and there family members and or people are against this assisted suicide. And one other reason about why people are against assisted suicide is because there are a lot’s of people suicide in the world mostly every day, so they are against it a lot.

One reason people support this topic is because assisted suicide is going down and that people are fighting to stop people from preventing suicide so there or friends, family or close relative won’t do the same thing that someone did. One other reason is that now there helping and taking theme to Rehab or other places they will get help from.

My thoughts on assisted suicide is that when people do it I feel bad about it but at the same time I think there crazy and dumb at the same time. But I think they should take the people to jail or prison or get help from some body and if they get caught trying to suicide they should go to rehab and get help big time so they wont try to kill theme selves again.

Obesity

Causes of Obesity

Ok now first I am going to start with the causes of obesity. The causes of obesity are simple its caused by eating and consuming to many calories. In addition, there for people get fatter or in simple terms obese. They do not go to the gym or anything they just sit around all the time and do nothing. And we skinny people call them couch potatoes because they do not try to help them self’s so it is nobody’s fault but there own. Those are some of the causes of obesity that is the end of my first paragraph.

Problems and outside causes

And then this next paragraph is going to be about problems and outside causes. First, I am going to start with the problems part there is many problems that come with obesity. There are health problems like diabetes also known as adult onset diabetes. And people could die that would people would ask your friends what did he die from oh from being to fat! But there is many cases where it is genetics like it is in there genes so it is not there fault that they are the way they are.

My opinion

Now it is time for my opinion and what I think about this I think it is nasty. But I aint one to judge cause I aint like that but I would never get like that cause I want to be healthy and have a good life. Im not saying that you cant have a good life if you are obese im saying you wont have a better life which everybody wants.

ADHD Medicating

Each year physicians are asked to treat hundreds of problems and diseases and there only tool is drugs. It seems to be that the ADD/ADHD drugs make the side effects worse than the actual side effects themselves.

It is bad to drug your child with the mixture of amphetamines that are in the ADHD/ADD medications because the side affects can make your children sleepless, not hungry and a tweeker!

But it can also be good because there is some kids that cant focus and are in danger too them selfs and other kids without these types of medications.

I think its all in the head and a waist of time…! The only thing your really doing is getting your kid all spracked so if your cool with that then do it…

Capital Punishment

There many innocent man and women that are put to death penalty and not getting a fair trial. There are several documented cases where DNA testing showed that innocent people were put to death by the government. By Joe Messerli

My opinion is that everyone should pay for their crime. But not in the way they run it because when they kill this prisoner he isn’t going to suffer nothing. So when they keep them in jail till he dies he is going to suffer because he is wishing he could be out in the outs and be a free person.

Gay Marriage

My topic is gay marriage and not a lot of people support it because it is not normal and people believe that marriage should be just between one man and one woman. And some people just don’t care if it’s two men or two women gay marriage shouldn’t be such a problem because theirs polygamy and people just get over that issue.

Well my opinion is that we are all people and we all have different taste in people so why not let people marry who they want to if they love that person then what’s the problem they aren’t hurting anyone. Have you ever thought of it the other way around what if it was normal to have gay marriage and not normal to be with the opposite sex then what would people say?

Some people agree with gay marriage because to them it’s not problem it’s
Natural you fall in love with some one then You want to marry that person what’s wrong with two men getting married or two women getting married it’s just the same thing as a “normal” marriage but they are the same sex. They are just two normal human beings.

Thanksgiving

I don’t like thanksgiving but it just mostly because every year instead of giving thanks for what we have, the festivity becomes a beer fest. Most of the younger kids get kicked out of the party because one of my uncles just has to bring the Jose Cuervo get butt drunk and start dancing on top of the table trying to take his cloths off.

The older ones like 13-20 just leave and just go to the mall or something for the thanksgiving sale and come back later later when all the parents are so drunk they start telling their kids the type of jokes you’d never think would be said outside of a strip club, and tia maida starts spinning around the pole connected to the ceiling TRYING to be “sexy”, but instead ends up throwing up like there is nothing better to do in the word.

We have more beer than turkey and there is a LOT of turkey, but some how its always the first thing to go. so the every body starts leaving to bring to beer from their houses so they can drink some more ,but they’re already so drunk that they forgot were home is.

Instead they send their kids. Their last words being “y me las trais todas porque las tengo contadas!!!!!!”

I was hopeing that this year would be different but I think it might just be worse because “la familia ruchis” is coming over , at least the “Martinez family” wont be there that should even it out a little.

Thanksgiving

I like thanksgiving because is the day when you are thankful for all your blessings and is time to say thank god for gave us this world and thank god for my family and for every single thing .
Thanksgiving is really cool because everybody is cooking its best meal; the families are together and share stories about each person how they are doing and staff like that.
Thanksgiving is the best day for say thank you to each other.

Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving will be the first time my whole family will be together in 5 years. My brother Benny is coming down from California. This will also be the first Thanksgiving that my fiancé has spent with my family, she is really nervous about it. I am just hoping that I don’t screw everything up and not be able to go home. I’m more excited then anything that my whole family, and even some of my friends are going to all be together again. Being able to have that again is going to be absolutely amazing.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving before last I was at my dads and I just got this three wheeler running, I was riding it around and my step brother got on back, when we came off this hill we were going fast and my dads truck was in the way. He had his foot over the brake and I couldn’t stop so I had to push him off into the dirt then I tried to stop and put my foot out to help turn and it got stuck in between the three wheeler and the running board of the truck, then the three wheeler tipped and it snapped the fibula and tibia, I got up and tried to run and fell. When I went to the hospital they had to take me to the one in Grand Junction, it ruined thanksgiving because we were stuck at the hospital.

Giving Thanks

Thanksgiving is one of the greatest holidays; you get to have lots of food, friends, and family over. I like to have my family all together for the holidays it means something really special to me. My mom and my dad cannot really be together much of the time, my mom cannot mentally stand to be my dad for longer than an hour, so when he comes to visits its barely time enough to say hi. So on Thanksgiving I am very thankful to have my dad around. The other reason I am very thankful to have my family around on Thanksgiving is for the simple fact that in my family we do not always say we are thankful for each other, but since my sisters death we all feel the gratitude. I thank god everyday for my living sisters and my mom. Its not good only to be grateful on one day out of 365 days out of a year. I am thankful there is a whole day to have gratitude, but I feel we should have it everyday.

Proctor and Thanksgiving

So most everybody from my program is going for home visits thanksgiving. The only problem is I might not get to go because our area supervisor says that if we don’t have a job in 2 weeks we’re not going. And until we get jobs we have to do extra chores. I really don’t agree with this, and it pisses me off even more that I really can’t do anything about it. I’ve been looking for a job ever since I got here, and I’m only having the slightest luck.

Today I’m going to write about what I’m thankful for. Well first of all I’m thankful for my family. My favorite thing to do on Thanksgiving is be with my family and the Food. My favorite part of thanksgiving is how groups of my family gather around, talk and eat together. I just think that it’s nice having them around. I do like Thanksgiving because like I said I like it when my family gathers around and be with each other and there is no hate going on. This year I’m going to spend time with my proctor family because they really like me a lot and they want me around because it might be the last holiday I will be them. What I'm Thankful For

What I’m thankful for well I’m really thankful for my family they been there with me good and bad times. My Dad and Mom that have been visiting me and been there for me and toke there time with me I love you mom and dad. For my Caseworker Lisa Lindquist that’s never gave up on me and hope she can be there for me all the way thanks. And for my brothers and sisters that love me either way I love you guys. And this girl I know that I love with all my heart Priscilla de la Torre you been the only friend their for me that we toke over the bad times and had fun the great times dude. And hope it stays that way for the rest of our life time I love you don’t forget that dude. And for all the people that been their for me don’t think I forgot about you guys thank you a lot love you guys!

Thanksgiving

I like Thanksgiving with my family down in Arizona because all of my family come to my Moms house and get Together. And when we all get together we all have fun playing games and laugh and allot of other stuff like we’ll play some football and or softball. But I remember when I was in Arizona for Thanksgiving last two years ago me and my family all gathered up at my moms house in Arizona, and there was a lot of people and friends come and we had to make a lot of food and hade to butcher another sheep so there would be enough food for everybody to eat, but it was playing and having my cousins friend from phoenix for a DJ and he was cool and he was a African American and a little bit native, and all my family had an after party and we got my uncles to play, because he has a country band and it was cool and we all had lots of fun all night and all day playing games and listening to music it was really fun thanksgiving.

My Awesome Thanksgiving

I might go home for thanksgiving this year. I missed last year because I was in a place called willow springs. I was there for six months. I was there because I got in a fight two days in a row. I love thanksgiving because I can eat all I want with out getting in trouble. I am thankful for my family, my dog , all the people that love me for who I am and not for what I have. I think that a perfect thanksgiving meal is giblet grave some mash potatoes sweet potatoes turkey radishes yams this is all I have so yeah thanksgiving is awesome

My Sad Thanksgiving

So when I was younger my parents bought me a pet turkey and I loved it so much. I feed it every day at 5 in the morning it was my favorite thing in the world. One day on thanksgiving I came home from the school I went to and my dad would not tell me where my pet turkey was. My dad then asked me if I wanted to help with making diner for thanksgiving. Then my dad took me to the back yard and then I saw it. It was my pet with a screw driver in its brains. I remember that I was so mad and sad. I cried for days I would not eat the turkey at all and that was my saddest thanks giving ever the end

Thanksgiving

I like thanksgiving because it’s a day when you can spend it with your family with people that you love. Last year I didn’t spend it with my family I was in locked up in DT it’s sad when you want to spend time with your family and you just can’t. Because your dumb choices that you make and that gets you in trouble with the law. But enough about my problems Thanksgiving is fun because the family gathers up together and we laugh we got music we do a lot of family activities we eat kick back and just chill and have a good time. But that’s my opinion someone not mite agree with me but like I said that’s my opinion.

Thanksgiving

Do I like thanksgiving well … yeah because all of my family is together and we are all happy but I think this year my family is going to be separated because we are having problems so it’s going to be weird. The things that im thankful for are: my family, my friends and that im getting a chance to change my bad behaviors (LoL) well my favorite thanksgiving was when I lived in Ogden and all my family came over and we were all so happy their was no problems everyone was just getting along, but now days things are a little bit different and it’s not like it use to be and that’s one thing I would change.

Going Home Tomorrow - for good!

Well I go home tomorrow and I hope I do well. First I have to go to get register for school so that I can do that. I’m also going to get a job so that I can make my money I’m also going to play football next year for Logan high and so is my little Brother. I hope that I can be good influents on my little brothers and sisters I hope that I can become some thing in life and not be like everyone says. I hope I’ll be able to help my parents with what they need. And I want to graduate so that I can go to college and so I can become a P.O so that kids that come to me for help I’ve been though that and i can help them. I’m going to miss summit because it’s help me a lot.

Cliques

Why is it that everything revolves around cliques, anything from the way you dress, the music you listen to, the way you talk. It all revolves around them, and it bugs me cause everything and everyone has a label and a place on the social circle of life. Even as we get older, it becomes even harder to get out of the social circle you were put in when you were younger. I think that we should get rid of cliques what good are they labeling us by how much our parents make to what clothes we wear, how speak. What happened to being created equal and all being friends, why cant we just all be labeled as ourselves instead of emo kids, or jocks, preps, losers, etc. We are all people and so I feel like we should not be judged, but that’s just one kids opinion.

Vote

The reason I don’t think people wont vote is because they think there vote wont count is because they do not think there vote will mean anything in the elections in the electoral votes and they are not educated enough on where to go vote at.

The only reason I would not vote would be the fact that I would not feel that my vote is not personal enough in the elections. I feel that how the government does the elections now it does not make the vote personal enough. They need to them as popular vote and I think more people would get out there and vote.

The other reason would simply be that the people are note educated enough on where to get out and vote. Like is it free, where do I go how long does it take? Its hard to vote when you do not know where to go.

The Bus

On the bus ride home, it is so boring that I just rather walk than ride it. The kids on the bus are so loud it’s annoying and we cant even here the radio because they want to be loud. Some of the kids don’t even have respect for the bus driver. If he asks them to be quiet or not to swear they don’t listen. I think that if the kids want the bus driver to do what they ask then why can’t they do what he asks. It’s only fair if he turns off the radio if they keep swearing. Maybe if they just listened it wouldn’t happen, well it hasn’t yet but it’s possible. Then when it does they’re going to wonder why.

Summit Teachers

Today I’m going to write about some of the coolest teachers in school. Well first of all every teacher in this school are cool and some days they are just Meany Head’s. some of my favorite teachers are all my teachers which are only four of them. Ben, Jason, Lesli, and Jessica. What I like about Ben is that he is funny, and very nice. What I like about Jason is that he thinks he is cool all the time which is good he thinks positive about himself. What I like about Lesli is that she is very nice to me and she is always there for me when I need help. What I like about Jessica is how I always complain in here class because she always makes us write so much but I always get it done when I really focus. (I also love her dog DEMON! x3) THE END.

Soccer

Soccer is most popular in all México and others country’s like Brazil and Argentina those country’s make a lot of money with that sport and the players too. Some players going to others continents to play for others teams because in their country’s is hard overcome because their country’s don’t have good plan’s for them that’s why they choose going to other place where everybody can overcome.

Cops

Cops are stupid they think they can do what they want, they will come up to you when you get pulled over and have an attitude when you get one back they act like you started it and then they make it seem like its you fault they were being rude. They shouldn’t be special and not have to abide by the laws, there just like everyone else, they just have some lights on top of there cars, I think we should fight for that because we should be treated equal.

The End is Coming

The end of the world is coming because there are many things threatening us right now for example I want to talk about one thing which is global warming. Global warming happens when the o-zone layer gets reduced because of toxins like fire and pollution. When these toxins get released into the air then the o-zone layer gets thinner and it means that the UV rays come through more easy and then if that happens then we would all eventually burn up and die because it will be so hot so there is some things we can do to prevent it but it is bound to happen so be prepared because it happens every so often and it seems that our time is up.

Ben's Class

Well in Ben's class we are talking about the earth. I really think it is so weird how the earth use to be 4.6 million years ago to now 4.6 million years after. We have done so much to it when I mean so much to it I mean we have destroyed it. We don’t really care about it our earth well that’s how it looks like. We throw crap in our drains the drains go to the ocean and I know everyone knows that for a fact but people still keep on doing it. And I think we should as a school pick up trash lying around in our community and show some respect to Mother Nature it would be good to go and help and get out there and play. Some sports while we are out there too.

My Dog's

Well I have 7 dog’s 2 of them are blue noise pit bulls there name’s are Corona and big Blue. Then two of the other one’s are American pit bulls there names are J-lo and Nina there all white and I mix them with big blue and all the puppy’s come out white and blue. Then two of my other dogs are red noise there names are buster and lady dead. Then the last one is a lil Chihuahua her name is star. And that’s all my dogs.

My topic today is that I think that my cats are cool because they are so adorable and are kind and have a great personality and they love being the center of attention because they love getting there back scratched because one of there names are sky and horris which we have had them since they were little!

Court on Monday

I have court in three days and I can't wait cause I hope I see my family, but the same time I’m kind of nervous because I don’t know what my judge is going to say to me. I hope she gives me a couple of months like three months or I wish she releases me. But on Monday I hope my tracker takes me to court because she is cool and she drives faster and listens to music, but the others they just kind of drive slow and don’t listen to radio or anything, but just talk in their phones and drive slow. It sucks cause some of them just complain about every thing and I just hate it just sitting there in the car being bored and just thinking about what the judge is going to say and just thinking about getting released.

Summit High

Hey there Mr. Blog. Today I am going to write about Summit. And what I like about it and don’t like about it. First, I am going to write about what I like. First, I will start with the principal Doug. I have never really liked a principal the way I like him. And the teachers are pretty cool. I like my first three periods and then they go down hill from there. So that sucks. Oh yeah I like my 5th period to I can’t leave out little Craig. That’s my son, just playing, but over all I like this school. It has its ups and downs but this school mostly has an upside to it and that is the end of today’s journal!

President Obama

We are living history… We are living to see the first black president… Not only that but I think with President Obama we will see and notice a lot of change! Not even all that, I think Obama will be a good President and get us out of this recession! I see him doing exactly what his campaign slogan was….”Change”! Just by having Obama as a President people can see that anyone can do anything and have that kind of change!

Football

Today I don’t do know what to talk about. I’m just going to talk about football how it is fun to play with a lot of people and it a good exercise. If you like to play football and play for your school you can play for the NFL. If you practice everyday and you can make millions and have a good family to support, have a big house for the family and have nice cars. You even can travel the world with your family. So if you like playing football, then practice everyday. Follow your dream to the fullest don’t give up your dream. Imagine the things you’re going to get when you make it.

New President = New Opportunity

The event that took place will be remembered forever; 11-5-08 will be the day that the first African American president was put in to office, and also a beacon to all who have thought there were restrictions to life in general, but due to what occurred the meaning of opportunity has been emphasize. Along with all inventions, thoughts and what has occurred proves that anything is possible.

Lord of the Flies Opinion

The book to me seemed to give a hopeless feeling; being mostly since it was written around the period of the 2nd World War. Coming in to the story started with a plane crash, and the only survivors are children that start there own society but end with a mutiny causing the death of two individuals. I guess for me the first part of the story would have made me want to put the book down. I am hard to please when it comes to books but I would have to say the story for most people would start to pick up once it gets to the part that discusses when they were choosing who would be chief going on until the end of the book. For some people a ‘trapped on an island’ story might be cool, but since it had a bunch of 12 year olds trying to work together, I’d say that would be some what of a good book.

Proctor/Independent Living

So this is my first time in the whole proctor setting, and so far it really sucks. It made me realize just how much I really do have at home, and just how important family really is. I miss my family a lot, and it’s been really hard adjusting to the program. Not only that, but getting a job is also really hard. I’ve turned in quite a few applications and haven’t heard from any of them. Also it feels a lot like being extremely grounded; I don’t have hardly any freedoms at all. No more going to the gas station for a soda whenever I want, no more hanging out with my homies. Proctor really sucks.

Jack or Ralph

I would choose Ralph as my leader because, unlike Jack, he has our safety and security in mind. Although Jack has leadership skills, he doesn’t show the mind for it. Ralph although tries hard to shelter everyone and keep them civilized while Jack turns them into wild savages. Not only did Jack turn everyone into savages, he also either turned Ralph’s friends against him, or killed them. He even tried to kill Ralph. So even though Jack had better leadership skills as far as gaining the popular vote and having the power of persuasion, Ralph was the better leader for having the safety and well being of everyone.

Lord of the Flies

What I’m writing about this book is how Ralph was a better leader then Jack. Well first of all Ralph always focused on saving everyone and all of them getting the same things as everyone. Ralph also focused on saving everyone not just himself. Jack all he cared about was hunting and eating. He didn’t listen to Ralph which always made Ralph mad but he didn’t take any anger out. I also liked Ralph because he tried to keep everyone doing something like he wanted to make a fire and he wanted it to keep going so if someone saw smoke they would go and see what’s going on, and the would get saved. I just think Ralph was respectful and caring to everyone he was a good leader until jack came in and ruined everything he got people to hate them if they weren’t on his side. Ralph always stayed the same. That’s why I like him.

Home

Today I’m writing about going home. Well first, of all I really miss my home and second, I really miss my family and third, of all I can’t wait to go home. Every weekend I go home. I’m not happy and when it comes to Sunday. I’m like I’m not really to go back to my proctor home, but I gotta come home otherwise I’ll get in trouble and might not be able to go home the next week. When I lost my privileges I got really sad and mad because I hate being away from my family. But the only thing that reminds me is that it’s my fault that did this to myself, and that I got to get myself out of it. The only way I can do this is to follow my program rules and the law. Now I know that the state or my judge don’t play games with me because this isn’t my first time. Maybe if it was my first they would take it a little more easier but since it’s not I got to face harder consequences I think its because I should have learned my lesson at the first time but since I didn’t that’s why. I wanna be good influence to my brothers but since I have cousins that showed me how to do bad things I wanna change that to my little brothers I don’t want them to go through what I went through. And I know it’s not my cousins fault that I’m like this it’s mine I just chose the wrong people. I wanna make sure my brothers don’t do the same mistake I did. Lord of the Flies

My response to the book is like ……..”ummmmm-a-duuuuuuh.” I didn’t get to read the whole book so I’m just kind of confused and indifferent, but I did like the part I got to read. It was very interesting how this guy can write a story about a bunch of kids that survive on a deserted island for who knows how long. It’s creative, I never knew somebody could have such an imagination. If it was my story it would probably say that some died when they landed and the ones that live ate each other Or some things like that.

How I Am

Well, today has been a good day so far. I started out kind of hyper, but then I hyper’d myself out. Now I am just tired. So this is the last day of my first week in this school. I thought it was going to suck and I was going to be bored, but this school is really cool so far, most teachers are really nice. Some people are weird, but mostly nice so I don’t mind coming to school any more.

Response

This book I think was a good book it can relate to my life in many ways. In some situations I become uncivilized and become a savage. I also have been in a situation like that instead of a bunch of little boys it was me and my family. We got stranded in the middle of the desert when we were coming from Arizona to Utah. We was short on food and water, and we also started out very civilized then we became angry and started fighting amongst our selves, but then we kind of got rescued by someone driving by and picking us up.

My Response to Lord of the Flies

From what I have read from the last few chapters of the book I really enjoyed it and how there were so many twist in the story and it all just kind of unreal I know that I couldn’t live on an island for that long I would die. The storyline behind it in my opinion was really amazing. I hated though how Golding drug everything on and on it made it a little more boring how everything was so long to describe little things in the book like the water. By being able to read this book though I have realized how easy it would be for someone to just go completely insane.

Savage/Leader

I believe that people are not naturally born a savage, I believe that they become savages.
The reason why I say this is because in the book the kids try to be a civilized when they first start out when they first got deserted. Then they start turning on one another and they become savages an uncivilized. I think why some people become like savages is because they get confused and don’t know what to do, they also get scared and they feel the need to be by themselves. If I were to choose a leader between Jack and Ralph I believe I would choose Ralph because he stays calm in all situations and also because he seemed more civilized.

I want to be home so that I could be back with my friends and family. I want to be able to see my fiancé again, to be able to hold her, and tell her that I love her. I took so much stuff for granted before I got put into JJS custody. Now I’m missing everything that I had on the outs. I miss being able to just go and hang out with my friends with out a curfew to be able to just relax instead of everything having to hurry and be done. So that I can be able to just be home with the people that I know and the people who really care about me and have known me for a long time longer then they have here.

Lord of the Flies

The book Lord of the Flies is a good book and it’s crazy at the same time because the kids start to go crazy at the end of the story. They kill their own friends and they don’t even have any remorse and they act like its nothing they get use to it they want to kill Ralph for running his own crew. The character I like in this book is Jack because he is one of the dominant ones and he becomes a leader his self. I think that’s cool that he don’t be a follower and don’t listen to anybody. I think that it’s important to be a leader and independent, you can’t live off some one else or follow them for your whole life you got to be your own man.

How I'm Living

Hey what’s up this is Marky and today I’m going to take about how I’m living. Well right now I’m living in a procter home and I really don’t like it, especially when they call me their kid because I ain’t their kid. They got me twisted. If I wasn’t living in procter I would be living in Ogden at home where I need to be. I probably wouldn’t be working or going to school because I’m the type that don’t like school. I’m use to the streets and just doing what ever I can. I’d rather be home than be out here, but it’s my fault for getting in trouble when I should be taking care of my son. So I’m going to stay out here so I can get on track and get off papers then when I do its on.

Born to Kill

People do not become savage they are born savage since. Since the beginning of time we were here to defend our land, and our food, and our selves. We are raised to be nice, polite and civil; we are designed to be aggressive, hard and unexpected. As a baby you would say we are defenseless and we do not seem very savage, at that age others do not see the degree of the savagery to the extent it can be driven to.
As an example, in Lord of The Flies, Jack and the other boys reached their inner savagery. They were trained in a society to be civil but when all there civility was taken away there savagery came into view, and two lives were taken away. These boys were British gents, they were well behaved to the naked eye.

The Worst Smell Ever

The worst smell ever for me for me would have to be the smell in the lunch line in school when I was in elementary school. I would be in line and when I would put my head on the glass in would get this smell of wet sinking in mold. It was the most disgusting smell I have ever smelt. I can’t really explain it. It was just a horrible kind of nose wiping, ear wiggling scent. I was quite atrocious. I would be sitting in line with all of my friends and we would all be playing around hitting and pushing each other around and when I would get that scent it would just make me light headed and I would have to just turn my head it smelt.

Lorf of the Flies

I really liked the book a lot even though I wasn’t here for the whole book, but I’m happy I got to read some of it with everyone cause it was a good book. Every one should read it cause it’s a way good book for everyone cause if I liked it then I bet a lot of people would like it cause it takes a lot for me to like a book. But that’s just what my guess is. I liked how the book was about 9-12 year olds cause who would think of that kind of stuff. They kill each other. That’s weird but it’s still really cool that they do stuff like that and that’s what I think about the book.

Well today I’m going to finally get to go to the mall cause I’m off house arrest now. So I get to go get my new skateboard. Well I’m hoping that I can go get it and if not, then I will some other time or something I guess. Then I get to come back to the school to go to the after school thing and I hope its going to be fun, cause if not then that’s not going to be fun or anything, but at least I get to go with some friends to it. I’m happy about that too, so when I get here it’s going to be even more fun then I’m hoping so I can get some good treats or something good like that.

The Lord of the Flies

Ok I have two choices to select a leader and are Ralph an Jack. I think the best is Ralph and absolutely I choose Ralph because he tried his best on the book. Seriously I want a be like him with the conch power and have all those boys you know be the chief like him. I don’t like Jack because he is possessive and he doesn’t have personality he try to copy Ralph.

What is a Pilot?

I want to be honest I don’t have idea what is a pilot. The only thing that I know is I want a be the best pilot in this world. This is one of my 100 dreams in my life. Well I only know a few things about pilot. One is they always are in the air because is their job fly and fly from here to china or other country. I think is so fun because they don’t have responsibilities, I mean they don’t need comeback home every day like most people do it. I will the best pilot.

Family

My family is great, they do everything they can for me when I got into trouble they did what they could to help me. My mom hired a lawyer and did what she could. I think that everyone needs a family to help them threw the bad times. I would do anything I could for my family if I had to jump in front of a bullet for one of them, because I love them. I hope that everyone has someone that loves them and would do something good for them, because when you have someone it pushes you to do good for them because it’s hurting them when you get into trouble.

I would rather have Ralph as a leader because he cares about making it back home with everyone. All Jack cares about is hunting and killing things, he would rather use the fire to cook when he kills stuff instead of using it as a signal to attract someone who could rescue them. I would rather have Ralph as a leader because he cares about everyone and Jack just cares about himself, so if something happened he would leave you behind but Ralph would come back and get you out of the.

Going Home!

I want to go home so that I can be with my familia and my girlfriend. But I want to go home and do good. I want to go back to work and go to school, so that I can be able to go to college, so I can make my familia proud and so I can show my P.O and case manager that I can make some thing of my life.

My response to the book

I think that this book was gay because it was just about lil kids.
I think what the book is trying to say is that any one can survive in an island by themselves. What William Golding was saying about humanity it’s that some time human’s can act like animals. No, I don’t think that they need to be scared.

The Lunchroom

I think they should get more tables in the lunch room because its to small also because it’s forcing people to eat
up stars because there is no room and all the people have to cramp together to sit by each other I also think the
cafeteria should dish more food to people because the amount they serve us doesn’t fill people up and so they get
hungry during class whichI’m sure every one will agree with the statement I made!

My Response About the Book

I think the book: the Lord of the Flies was a very interesting book and if William Golding had any more books like this.
I would request for them to read them because William Golding is very good creative man.
I also like this book because I think Jack is more domanetmit.
I think Jack is willing to face his fears more than any one in the book.
It’s important to face your fears because you can over come your fears.

Jack or Ralph

I would choose Ralph because the best leader to me and he would find food kind of and is old enough knows how to kill animals and cook it. And Ralph is cool I would say, and makes good friends and knows how to take care of others like a family may be. But is may be a not good of a fighter and makes good shelters and makes fire with glasses. I think Ralph can make a good friend if I were in the book , but if I were a leader and stranded on an island I would make a big shelter first with Ralph and everybody like the little ones and don’t argue allot but just take of every one like what Ralph is trying to do with Jack.

Home

I wish I was at home with my Family, because if I’m at home with theme we all have fun doing allot of fun stuff. If I were at home right now in Arizona I would been at my grandmas house doing chores for her cause if I don’t listen to my parents I would have to go to there house, and if I’m there I just ride horses and go sheep herding for my grandma and it will be boring if I’m by myself and if I’m with my cousins I would have fun and just mess around with the horse. But down in Arizona there is kind of more like freedom down their and like it more than Utah. And at home ill be with my cousins doing allot of crazy stuff at school or in my community and never get caught by the cops cause the cops are dumb, lazy and funny. It’s cool though in the Rez.

Summit or Home?

Well where do I start? I want to graduate from Summit, but then again I want to go home. So yes I’m stuck and confused should I stay or should I just go home. I have my pros and cons about both I want to go home but I don’t want to go to school in Blanding because of things in the past and I really like Summit, but if I stay here to graduate from Summit then I have to stay with my proctor family and I don’t want to stay with them so can you help me?

My favorite character

I think that I relate to Roger because I can be very rude to people, but then again I think I’m like Simon because I like to be alone. I don’t know I think I am like all of them. Well I think everyone is at some point in their life but that’s just me. I think I’m more like Roger because I’m mean to people and I’ve thrown rocks at people. Roger was also my favorite character. I liked him because he was mean and he was like me in some ways he was just me favorite.

Well today’s blog is going to be about the book that we read in class and it’s going to be who makes a better leader. Ralph or Jack and it’s like half and half if I can do that. My reason is because Ralph is weak at some points in the book and Jack is a beast boy. He does what he wants when ever he wants to do it. Ralph he is a good leader and everything it’s just that he didn’t really come with good ideas. If you notice it was mostly Piggy and Piggy died so he doesn’t really matter no more. My Life

Today’s blog is my choice so. I am going to write about the home visit. I should be getting some time soon in the near future. And if I don’t get it, I am going to be so pissed off because I deserve it. I have been working hard making that paper. So when I go home I could be living that good life. Hopefully I will be supporting me and my family in a major way. I am done with that illegal living I have been living like that for so long I am just tired of it. I no I need to clean up my act but its just hard at times. But that’s what I am doing now getting my life straightened out. Not just for me, but my family as well. I love them with all my heart. I think that this book was interesting because is about some kids that try to do things by themselves. But I think that Ralph was a better leader because he think more mature and older and he had better ideas like to get rescued. He always tried to keep every one close and do things like a group and he always tried his best not just for him if not for every one. Jack was more of a bully try to boss every one and he though he was the best of every one when he really wasn’t he was more of a loser.

The reason I like . . .

The reason I like Summit High School is because the staff are kick back you can joke around and they won’t get pissed off. So let me talk about Summit this is the first school I like. The reasons I like is because the school is not that big and the staffs can keep a closer look on you just to make sure you don’t so some dumb stuff. And everybody is close to every one and we all get along with or with out drama we try to work it out, but all I got to say about SHS is that I love it and I enjoy every moment of it!!!

Halloween again, better be scared!

October 31st 2000 and 8 or better put as 2008 anyways it’s Halloween; candy, haunted houses, movies, restraints, your house, her house, my house all that good stuff.

Also since today is a frightening event or holiday; it would be a very good opportunity to make relationships with your girlfriends, and boyfriends…mostly girlfriends guaranteed by reassuring one another not to be frightened.

Tonight’s the night to get close with a blanket if you’ll be at home or a coat if your at the movies, or if a scare is what they want then that’s acceptable too; either way have fun, take some pictures send texts set up some dates do something have more fun then average, go all out…but just don’t lose your head!

Halloween Memory

My favorite Halloween memory happened when I was four-teen.

I was a Hawaiian for this Halloween I was wearing a flower in my hair and traditional clothing
I was at my last house. So I knocked on the door of the house.
The door was answered by a very tall, very handsome Polynesian man. I said “trick-or-treat”.
I asked him if I could get extra candy for being cute.
He said yes and gave me the whole bag.

The Devil

The story that I have to tell for a scary Halloween story is that it starts out with two guys going to a bar they were going to have fun. One of the guys was kind of worried to go anywhere because he thought that someone was following him. When they got to the bar they started to dance with some girls and they heard a girl scream and everyone started running and they seen in the middle of the dance floor there was a man and they was wondering why was everyone running so they looked at the man and the man turned at them and smiled with a big grin so they looked down and the man had a chicken foot and a pig foot, so they got scared and took off running with everyone else and they got into the car and none of them wanted to drive so they took the chance of driving and took off. They got to the highway and they went for about 20 minutes and they had to pull over because the worried one had to use the bathroom and they was no near a bathroom so he went behind the car and so the man was using the bathroom and the other guy looked in the rear view mirror to check on his friend and all of a sudden he disappeared and the man who was in the car got out to see where his friend went and he heard a scream and it came from under the car and the guy felt someone grab his leg and it was his friend he was under the car so he pulled him out and they jumped in the car and they speed off and the worried one had a scared look on his face and told his friend that the devil got him and so they looked back and there wasn’t nothing on the road, and later they looked on the worried ones back and it had big scratches on it.

Dance With the Devil

It was a beautiful October morning, the thirty first day of October to be precise. Every one in the town was getting ready to be dazzled at the churches Halloween dance. Every year the small town in Colorado would have one. This year little did everyone know, would it be the most unforgettable one ever. Emily wasn’t the most popular girl, she wasn’t the most pretty, and she wasn’t much of anything really. Emily didn’t want to go to the dance, he mother told her she needed to go to the dance to be more social. She went for the sake of her mother. As soon as she got there the music started and every one was suddenly asked to dance, well every one except her. She was every emotion that comes with embarrassment. Emily went and sat by herself, sat in a white chair and imagined all the evil in the world on all the prettier girls and there dates, and her gorgeous hero who would come save her then the unthinkable happened. A tall dark man dressed in white from head to toe walks in the double doors. All the other girls are taken breathless; she looks at him disappointed because she knows he will never notice her. He takes Emily by the hand, she is motionless, and in his strong arms she sways numbingly. In the middle of the dance her palm and waste start to burn. She screams and steam comes out her side. Emily turns to her hero, only to see him as Satan. He is in black now and his pig like hooves are burning into the wood in the church floor.

I don’t know much about Halloween but I know a few things like most people go out and knock doors and ask for some candies and do that over and over during the nigh after that a lot of people go to the cemetery to tell superstitions about weird staff you know like death people who is looking for someone you know all this things are fake because I don’t believe in weird stuff.

Favorite Holiday

Halloween is my favorite holiday and this year is my worst year ever cause I cant go trick or treating but at least I get to get to go with one of my friend this year but its only going to be with one kid and my new family but I cant wait till I go cause I’m going to be all dressed up and what not and I will have a lot of candy by the end of tonight
And I get to go to a little house with my new family and I’m thinking its going to be a lot of fun and then I will get to go trick or treating with some people and it’s going to be a lot of fun like I said well I’m hoping its going to be.

Chucky

Today I’m write about Halloween and how I use to be scared of Chucky the doll. When I was around 5-7 I use to be so scared of chucky because my cousins would always bring him up and hide and scare me at night. I use to live with my aunt so her son (my cousin) use to love chucky and I was always scared of him. But now I think he is sicc, and funny. Well this is the second year I am not at home for Halloween with my family and it really sucks because I’ve done so many dumb things that I get taken away. But its my fault nobody else’s. It sucks because I could be with my family and be having fun with my little sisters or brothers. But hopefully one day I learn my lesson.

13 Ghosts

My favorite scary movie is 13 ghosts because it’s cool how they capture all those spirits then the new people move in and they find these glasses you can see the ghosts with. The first time I saw that movie was when I lived in California, after we watched the show we went and played night games and we heard a gun shot then someone scream the block over. The next day we found out some guy killed his wife, ever since that was my favorite movie.

I remember along time ago on Halloween back in the day for costume’s I was just some kid in a mask but the reason I’m talking about this is because it was funny because my brother was a girl and it was funny, he looked just like one it was a trip. I don’t think anybody knew who he was until he took off his wig and his make up. But for all those that might think my brothers gay for doing it, let me tell you a little something he aint. But Halloween is cool because you can go trick or treating you could dress up and go to parties for about a couple hours until it gets shut down by the police. I just wish I was home so that I could take my son trick or treating for his first time and dress him up as a little pimp that would be tight he would like good in it to I know.

It Halloween today it the first time I’m away from my family and it going to be boring because I’m going to work so that means I cant go kick it but it ok because I need money so when I go home I have money . Why I like Halloween

I think Halloween is cool sometimes. But I think Halloween is fun to little kids becuase they all care about is candy ,and I don’t really eat candy but it is fun to scare lil kids at night and still there candy’s and give it to some body we know. And Halloween its fun to run around with masks on and scare lil kids and do a lot of stuff on Halloween, but Halloween is fun if there’s a lot of family’s or friends with you.

I feel pretty bad about this Halloween! There is so much I should be doing! So many people I should be spending time with! I should be trick-or-treating with my little sister, I should be spending time with my family… Spending time with my girl! And definitely should be at Get Freaky tonight getting my MOB Thizzle On! The reason I like Halloween is because it’s a day were you can kick it with the home boys and the home girls and we go out and have a good time. Halloween me and the home boy dress liked hookers. And it was fun it’s just a day when you can fool around a lot. So I like it a lot it’s a day were all the homies gather up and have a good time.

Existing?

You seem to be so carefree when you’re young you have no understanding of anything that’s been here before you or even care about it’s purpose unless it concerns you. I never considered the world around me because I never had thought there was one beyond me. It seemed like there wasn’t anyone on my side because I wasn’t getting anything good from any source. I can understand me being ignored because of my age but that seemed to continue past grade school I’m thankful for everything I’ve been given but say I could have received more things value wise at least at a young age so I could have “the questions to the test” so to speak.

My actions have caused me to skip a chapter in my life but start another story. I’ve learned so much since I’ve been away from home but have done it alone; my ignition came from my mother if I didn’t have her wisdom I’d be dead for sure but just because I’ve learned a few things doesn’t mean I’m safe everything I know and will know must be put to action for me to live. I use to think life was a game I don’t any more.

Deathly Over-Rated

Many things and many people have changed my life in miraculous ways over the years. One of the most devastating things I have done in my life is one of the things that I will always remember. One night I knew I was getting locked up for awhile; my family was more than ready to let me go. I was more than ready to let go. I went to a source I knew, I gave her sixty dollars. We went to the alcohol store she bought me a beat of drink. I went home and I thought it was just going to be a couple of drinks to go down until I was going to go to court, it wasn’t. I ended up drinking a whole bottle of Jack Daniels, and Bracardi Rum to myself a full sixty dollars worth. To make things short I remember passing out, going to the hospital throwing more drink, and going into a play place asking were I could check in. I was in bad shape, they couldn’t get a hold of my mom, my little sister had to answer the phone to the nurses. I refused to give them my name. The only reason they knew me because I was in there for my dads accidents and my over doses. They took a urine sample as soon as possible blood and all of that good stuff. The results came back. I was in and out of this the whole time until I finally blacked out at the finally result of it all.” She isn’t pulling through prep her for I.C.U.” that’s all I could make out. In that moment I went into blackness. When I awoke I want in I.C.U. I was with my mom with I.V.s running through me.

That experience changed my life. I could be brain dead. I could be totally out of now. I am not though out of gods great will I am not. I should not take anything for granted, but I do. I can never forget this experience.

Who Changed My Life

A lot of people changed my life because but especially the police yes the police changed my old crazy life and them I learned how life better with rules.

The other person who changed my life is god because him and his son give me a second chance for me I love my lord and his son they really love’s us never is late to love god!!!

Changes

Today I’ma write about my changes in my life. I think I have made some changes because back then I couldn’t control my anger I had a big temper. Now I can control it and walk away from it. I’m glad I learn this skill. Otherwise I would be getting in more trouble then I am right now. I still get in trouble but not as much. But there are days that I just don’t care and I gotta watch that otherwise then after I get in trouble I won’t care and I’ll do more things. What I wanna tell people is that we should watch our mouths if some one says something try your hardest to ignore it. But if it’s something bad handle your beef.

Change is Better

Something that has changed my life is therapy because I’ve learned new things like how to control my anger (not that I do that) and how to say no and not do things I don’t want to do. Back then I would do things with out thinking first but now I think before I act and as far as my anger well I know how to cope with it and stuff but sometimes I don’t want to I just want to freak out if you know what I mean. How these changed my life is by me learning my boundaries better. Something else that has helped me change my life is by me learning to not hold grudges over my family now that I don’t do that I get along with my family better.

One thing that has changed my life is that when I was in foster care for 11 months and so I couldn’t see my family. And the reason I was I was in foster care was that I didn’t go to school for 2 years and started hanging out with the wrong people and started stealing from the mall and people I new so they put me in a foster in Spanish fork and the family wasn’t that bad but the dad was a big a hole to the foster kids that were there so he ignored us and treated us like crap and so I started getting in trouble there and ran away once and got caught at my brothers house so they kept me in there 6 months longer them I was supposed to be there. But now I’m home with my mom living in Orem and going to school every day I have only mist 3 days this year that’s what has changed my life.

Change

I don’t think my life change very munch because I still do the same things. I don’t
know if that a good thing or not. I want to change but it hard because trouble always finds me in some way or because I like smashing on buster when I see one because that how I am. I don’t want to do that all me life because I want to make million when I’m older like play. Some kind of sport or be a contractor so I can support my family because I don’t want my mom to work when she’s 59 I m going to buy everything for her like she did to me I know it going to be hard but im going to try hard so I can make my family happy. If I cant I don’t know what’s going to happen to me.

My life is crazy its always seeming like something new comes in even with the old that what I think changes my life.
The things that I do with the people I do it with changes my life… The money the girls the money an times them are things that change my life. My life is changing everyday and who knows when it will settle down an be a simple life… probably never!
But live life to the fullest while still doing something with your life! Them are the things that are changing my life ;)

What changed my life is when I moved to Utah I used to be in the gang life. But then I realize that I was better then that so I left it behind when I came over here not cause I wanted is just that I did it for my family. And the reason I did it is because I love them and being in a gang It isn’t a game ill still put it down for it but not as much as back then so that’s how I have changed. And I say that some one that is able to leave does kind of things in the past its some one real tuff to do it but that’s just me.

Something that has changed my life

I think something that has changed my life a lot is getting in the court system. I think this because I was on probation for two years and I had to many rules to follow. Thing I hate the most about being in the system is not being able to see my family or friends. I also hate that if you do something that’s not breaking the law like hanging out past curfew you get in trouble so my goal is to get off probation and do good and stop messing up so I can have my freedom back. Also cause a lot of people think that I am to big of a trouble maker and I would like to prove them wrong.

Monica's Letter:

Dear Dan,

It has come to my attention that you would like to turn off the vending machines during school breaks. I disagree to turn the vending machines off during school breaks because, some students do not eat breakfast, it will disrupt class, and we are growing kids. The vending machines being on during break has not raised any noticeable havoc, so it is also senseless to turn them off.

Summit students come from every where around Orem. Some students have to catch the bus around 6 o’clock in the morning. It is difficult to get breakfast started at that early in the morning and still have enough time to get enough sleep and ready. When it is that early in the morning and there are other people in your house. It is hard to go get a decent breakfast without waking a silent sleeping house.

The teachers on there prep period or there brake go to the vending machines, us students know that. As soon as class starts we will be sure that the vending machines will go on to accommodate the teachers who may be on prep. So the students in class will be disrupted, they will want to go into the hall so buy from the vending machines. Usually if you do not let a student go they will find a way, it will make more trouble in the hallways and students will have lower scores to match there attitudes.

We are growing kids, we are not in kindergarten we do not get a snack, nor a nap anymore. So, us students as maturing as we are, we need to have food or we will be very cranky most of the day. It is far much easier to work with a full stomach then to have to bare with the craving hunger pains. Lunch is not enough for students or any kids our age, the vending machines get us by. We get through our day with caffeine.

Some teachers would say it is a distraction to have food in class and it is making the school messier, I do not agree with that. Some students make that personal choice to do so. You can only look out for yourself, but if you see trash pick it up and through it away. We can all work together to keep the school clean. If we keep the vending machines on during school breaks we will have less disruption and more satisfied students and teachers.
