Summer Magic - Introduction

“Thump, thump. Thump, thump.” My heart still beats for Jeff, even 10 years later. I met Jeff in the summer of 1999. I had just graduated from high school and was working at Mill Hollow Summer Camp. The camp was situated high in the Uintah Mountains and I would be living there. It was the first time away from home. I was scared and excited at the same time - I was finally an adult, living on my own, and doing my own thing. There were 20 of us working as Cabin counselors, cooks, store keepers, and doing the entertainment for 250+ kids a week. We would become best friends and some of us would find the loves of our lives, like I did.
